Our Thanksgiving Table

I know it's a little late for Thanksgiving table decorating ideas, but this idea works perfectly just to have as your Fall table scape. This table is all about mixing textures and contrasting formal with casual.

For our Fall/Thanksgiving table we decided to bring the outside in...literally. Mom and I collected acorns from outside to add some texture on top of our burlap runner. We both decided that we were tired of the traditional orange and yellow colors so I rescued some old, plastic pumpkins by painting them white then spraying over them with silver glitter.
I love a rustic look so we cut branches from a sycamore tree (don't worry, it was already dead) to serve as the center piece:
To add a magical, whimsical look we rescued some old mason jars from the local Goodwill store and turned them into lanterns on the table.
We even used rustic wood napkin rings to tie everything together:

Here are some pictures of the completed look! Please let us know what you think :)
